- Dickinson State favored to win ninth straight DAC volleyball crown
(Dickinson, ND) – Dickinson State University is the coaches’ choice to capture the Dakota Athletic Conference women’s volleyball title for the ninth year in a row with Black Hills State a close second.
The Blue Hawks, under new head coach Ryan Platt, picked up four place votes to top the conference preseason poll. The Yellow Jackets also picked up four first place votes, but had one less voting point to finish second.
South Dakota Mines placed third in the balloting with Jamestown College fourth and Valley City State fifth. Mayville State and Minot State tied for sixth with Dakota State rounding out the poll at number eight.
The poll was conducted by the Dakota Athletic Conference.
