Minot State tops DAC football coaches' poll

(Dickinson, ND) – Dakota Athletic Conference football coaches are pointing at Minot State to capture the 2008 DAC championship.

The Beavers, who shared the 2007 conference crown with Black Hills State and Jamestown College, received six first place votes to top the balloting.  Black Hills State received the final two first place votes to finish second.

Jamestown placed third in the poll, Dickinson State finished fourth, Dakota State and Valley City State tied for fifth, South Dakota Mines finished seventh and Mayville State eighth.

The poll was conducted by the Dakota Athletic Conference.
