For the Week of October 30-November 05, 2006:
Offensive: Jason Beilke; Valley City State; Sophomore; Quarterback; Valley City, ND
Beilke accounted for 333 yards in total offense and two touchdowns in a 35-33 win over Dakota State. He had a 9 yard touchdown run and completed the game winning touchdown pass on 4th and 20 with 33 seconds remaining.  In the contest, he was 27 of 52 passing for 305 yards, one touchdown, no interceptions and added 28 yards on three carries and a TD.
Defensive: Joe Maresh; Valley City State; Senior; Defensive End; Glencoe, MN
Maresh had two sacks and five tackles-for-a-loss in the Vikings 35-33 season ending win over Dakota State.  In the contest, he had five solo tackles and seven assists. 
Special Teams: Brad Elliott; Valley City State; Junior; Wide Receiver; Valley City, ND
Elliot had 213 all purpose yards on the day with 76 yards on kick returns (25.3 yds/return), 55 yards on punt returns (18.3 yds/return) and caught a 39 yard pass on a fake punt. Elliott also had a solo tackle on the punt coverage team.
 
For the Week of October 23-29, 2006:
Offensive: Brandon Bishop-Parise; Dickinson State; Junior; Quarterback; Reno, NV
Bishop-Parise was 9-for-13 passing for 151 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in the Blue Hawks 24-14 win over Dakota State.  He also gained 20 yards on nine rushing attempts. 
Defensive: Dominic Vargas; Mayville State; Junior; Linebacker; San Bruno, CA
Vargas returned one of his two interceptions for a touchdown to lift the Comets to a 12-6 win over South Dakota Mines.  In the contest, he had one pass break-up, three solo tackles and six assists, including 1.5 tackles-for-a-loss and 0.5 sacks.  Vargas was also named the NAIA Defensive Player of the Week.
Special Teams: Rocky Stevens; Black Hills State; Senior; Kicker; Jonestown, CO
Stevens was 2-for-2 on PAT's and hit a 41 yard field goal as the Yellow Jackets defeated Valley City State, 17-0.  The win clinched their first DAC football championship.
 
For the Week of October 16-22, 2006:
Offensive: Justin Folk; Valley City State; Senior; Wide Receiver; Milbank, SD
Folk had eight receptions for 105 yards and one touchdown as the Vikings topped South Dakota Mines, 40-8. 
Defensive: Chase Spencer; Minot State; Senior; Defensive Lineman; Las Vegas, NV
Spencer had 3.5 tackles-for-a-loss, including three sacks, as the Beavers held Dakota State to just 98 yards in total offense in a 30-3 MSU victory.   In the contest, he recorded four solo tackles and two assists.
Special Teams: Mike Stowers; Jamestown College; Senior; Defensive Lineman; Gilbert; AZ
Stowers blocked two field goals in helping preserve a 10-8 triumph over Dickinson State.  Stowers was also named the NAIA Special Teams Player of the Week.
 
For the Week of October 09-15, 2006:
Offensive: Donald Strand; Dakota State; Sophomore; Quarterback; Tracy, MN
Strand completed 12 of 14 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown and added 70 yards on the ground on 11 carries and a score in the Trojans' 31-7 win over South Dakota Mines. 
Defensive: Chris Meier; Dakota State; Freshman; Defensive Back; LaVista, NE
Meier had three solo tackles, one assist and an interception in leading the Trojans to a 31-7 triumph of South Dakota Mines.  He also returned a blocked field goal for a touchdown in helping DSU improve to 2-2 in the DAC and 3-5 overall. 
Special Teams: Michael Fox; Minot State; Sophomore; Kicker; Calgary, AB, Canada
Fox was 2-for-3 in field goal attempts and 1-for-1 on PAT's as the Beavers knocked off number twenty Valley City State, 19-14.
For the Week of October 02-08, 2006:
Offensive: Erik Dirk; Jamestown College; Senior; Running Back; Gilbert, AZ
Dirk rushed for 159 yards on 14 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns in the 17th ranked Jimmies' 57-0 triumph over visiting South Dakota Mines.  
Defensive: Justin Thorpe; Black Hills State; Sophomore; Defensive End; Forbes, ND
Thorpe recorded five solo tackles and two assists, including one tackle-for-a-loss, as the Yellow Jackets blanked Dakota State, 25-0.  Thorpe also intercepted a pass and recovered a Trojan fumble in the Jackets' fourth win of the season.
Special Teams: Craig Tschetter; Black Hills State; Senior; Defensive Back; Spearfish, SD
Tschetter had four punt returns for 87 yards in the Yellow Jackets 25-0 road win over Dakota State. 
For the Week of September 25-October 01, 2006:
Offensive: Ryan Drinkwater; Valley City State; Senior; Running Back; Kansas City, MO
Drinkwater rushed for 134 yards on 15 carries and scored two touchdowns in helping lead the Vikings to a 49-7 win over Mayville State. 
Defensive: Casey Conway; Jamestown College; Senior; Linebacker; Jamestown, ND
Conway had 2.5 tackles for a loss in the Jimmies 21-3 win over Dakota State.  In the contests, he had six solo tackles and seven assists. 
Special Teams: Brad Elliott; Valley City State; Junior; Wide Receiver; Valley City, ND
Elliot had a 48 yard return for a touchdown among his three punt returns for 73 yards in the Vikings 49-7 triumph over Mayville State.  He also returned one kick for 26 yards as the Vikings improved to 2-0 in conference play.
 
For the Week of September 18-24, 2006:
Offensive: Neil Graham; Minot State; Senior; Running Back; Edmonton, AB, Canada
Graham had 26 carries for119 yards and a touchdown as the Beavers defeated the South Dakota School of Mines, 30-0.
Defensive: Joe Maresh; Valley City State; Senior; Defensive End; Glencoe, MN
Maresh had two quarterback sacks and 3.5 tackles-for-a-loss as the 22nd ranked Vikings nipped 17th ranked Jamestown College, 7-6.  In the contest, he had four solo tackles, four assists, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery to help the Vikings claim the "Paint Bucket," the traveling trophy that goes to the winner of the annual contest.
Special Teams: Brad Elliott; Valley City State; Junior; Wide Receiver; Valley City, ND
Elliott had four punt returns for 63 yards and one punt return for ten yards as the number 22 ranked Vikings defeated 17th ranked Jamestown College, 7-6, in the teams 101st meeting.
For the Week of September 11-17, 2006:
Offensive: Jake Morrison; Jamestown College; Junior; Running Back; Casper, WY
Morrison rushed for 160 yards on fourteen carries and scored three TD's as the Jimmies improved to 3-0 on the season with a 53-0 non-conference triumph over Mayville State.
Defensive: Chauncey Calhoun; Valley City State; Sophomore; Defensive Back; Phoenix, AZ
Calhoun intercepted three Dakota State passes, returning two of them for touchdowns covering 80 and 81 yards as the Vikings defeated the Trojans 35-7 in non-conference action. Calhoun's three interceptions tied a school record while his 163 return yards and two returns for touchdowns both set school records.  Calhoun was also named the NAIA Defensive Player of the Week.
Special Teams: Jake Stoltz; Jamestown College; Junior; Defensive Back; Gilbert, AZ
Stoltz had three punt returns for 126 yards (32 yds/return) and one kick return for 18 yards in the Jimmies 53-0 non-conference victory over Mayville State.
 
For the Week of September 4-10, 2006:
Offensive: Ryan Drinkwater; Valley City State; Senior; Running Back; Kansas City, MO
Drinkwater gained 124 yards rushing on 18 carries and scored three touchdowns in the Vikings 36-10 road triumph over Peru State, NE.
Defensive: Jake Stoltz; Jamestown College; Junior; Defensive Back; Gilbert, AZ
Stoltz had two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown, as the Jimmies rallied from a 14-0 deficit for a 20-17 overtime win over NCAA Division II Southwest State, MN.  He also had four solo tackles, two assists and three pass break-ups in his team's second win of the season.
Special Teams: No nominees.
 
For the Week of August  28-September 3, 2006:
Offensive: Tyler Greff; Dickinson State; Senior; Wide Receiver; Mott, ND
Greff had eight receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Blue Hawks 22-14 loss to MSU-Northern. 
Defensive: Ryder Weischedel; Jamestown College; Senior; Defensive Back; Gettysburg, SD
Weischedel had two interceptions, two pass break-ups and seven total tackles in the Jimmies 31-0 season opening victory over Peru State, NE.
Special Teams: Jake Stoltz; Jamestown College; Junior; Defensive Back; Gilbert, AZ
Stoltz had 49 and 55 yard punt returns in helping the Jimmies to a 31-0 win over Peru State, NE.  In the contests, he had three punt returns for 114 yards.
