Women's: Cassie Leraas; Mayville State; 5-5; Sophomore; Guard; Hunter, ND
Leraas averaged 28.0 points, four rebounds, one steal and 0.5 assists in helping the Lady Comets to sweep of their regular season ending conference games. In an 80-72 win over Black Hills State, Leraas broke the school record for points in a game with 39, a record she had tied earlier in the season with a 36 point performance against Bemidji State, MN, on November 15. In the two ball games, she was 13 of 36 from the field, including 10 of 23 on 3-point attempts and hit 20 of 23 from the free throw line.

For the Week of Ferbuary 06-12, 2006:
Women's: Loni Hall; Valley City State; 6-1; Junior; Center; Parshall, ND
Hall had 26 points, eight rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal in leading the Vikings to a 70-65 win over Mayville State in their lone game of the week. In the victory, she was 7 of 15 from the field and connested on 12 of 13 free throw attempts.

Women's: Brietta Bowerman; Jamestown College; 5-7; Senior; Guard; Robinson, ND
Bowerman averaged 20.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, two assists and 0.5 steals per game as the Lady Jimmies swept a pair of home games against Black Hills State and 24th ranked South Dakota Tech. In the two contests, she was 12 of 26 from the field including 6 of 8 on 3-point attempts and connected on 10 of 12 free throw tries.

Women's: Jenny Castro; Minot State; 6-0; Junior; Center; Dillon, MT
Castro scored 19 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and added four steals in the Beavers lone game of the week, a 54-44 triumph over Dickinson State. She connected on 5 of 9 field goal attempts and was 9 of 12 from the free throw stripe.

For the Week of January 16-22, 2006:
Women's: Melanie Vedvei; South Dakota Tech; 5-6; Sophomore; Guard; Lake Preston, SD
Vedvei scored 27 points and added nine rebounds, five assists, six steals and a block in helping the Lady Hardrockers to a 78-75 victory over fourteenth ranked Black Hills State. In her lone game of the week, she was 7 of 22 from the field and connected on 11 of 13 free throw tries.

For the Week of January 09-15, 2006:
Women's: Jill Thomas; Black Hills State; 5-10; Senior; Guard; Boise, ID
Thomas averaged 19 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.5 blocked shots as the Yellow Jackets picked up a pair of road wins to finish the first half of the conference schedule with a league leading 6-1 record. For the week, she was 15 of 27 from the field and a perfect 6 of 6 from the free throw stripe.

Bowerman averaged 27 points, 3.5 rebounds, two assists and a steal as the Jimmies split a pair of road conference contests. For the week, she was 17 of 35 from the field, including 8 of 13 from the 3 point arc and made 12 of 14 from the free throw line.

Women's: LaDonna Downs; Dickinson State; 6-3; Junior; Center; Yakima, WA
Downs averaged 13.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocked shots, one assist and one steal per game as the Blue Hawks defeated two of the conference's preseason favorites, Jamestown College and Dakota State. In the two victories, she was 7 of 13 from the field and made 13 of her 20 free throw attempts.
