Schmitz had 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in the Hardrockers 85-74 loss to Mayville State in the DAC Tournament title contest.  In the game, he was 7 of 13 from the field, including 1 of 1 from the three point arc and hit on 1 of 5 from the free throw line.

For the Week of February 19-25, 2007:

Men: Ron Howard; Mayville State; 5-9; Senior; Guard; Moreno Valley, CA

After sitting out the Comets' DAC Tournament quarterfinal win over Dakota State with the flu, Howard returned to the lineup in the semifinals versus Valley City State and recorded 25 points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block in a 66-62 Comet victory.   In his lone contests of the week, he was 7 of 16 from the field, including 4 of 10 on three point attempts and 7 of 11 from the free throw line.

For the Week of February 12-18, 2007:

Men: Drew Hysjulien; Minot State; 6-6; Senior; Forward; Grand Forks, ND

Hysjulien had 27 points, seven rebounds and an assist as the Beavers wrapped up regular season play with an 86-73 win at Dickinson State.  In the contest, he was 10 of 15 from the field, including 6 of 9 from the three point arc and did not attempt a free throw.

For the Week of January 29-February 04, 2007:

Men: Jake Holen; Jamestown College; 6-3; Junior; Guard; LaMoure, ND

Holen averaged 20 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in a pair of Jimmie conference victories.  For the week, he was 12 of 17 from the field, including a red hot 10 of 11 from the three point arc and connected on 10 of 11 free throw tries.

For the Week of January 22-28, 2007:

Men: Monty Rogers; Mayville State; 6-5; Senior; Forward; Murray, UT

Rogers averaged 23.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and two steals in helping the 19th ranked Comets to a pair of DAC victories.  In the two contests, he was 20 of 40 from the field, including 1 of 2 on three pointers and was 6 of 7 from the free throw line.

For the Week of January 15-21, 2007:

Men: Lawrence Brooks; Jamestown College; 6-3; Senior; Guard; Racine, WI

Brooks averaged 25.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.5 blocks and two steals in a pair of Jimmies' victories.  In the two contests, he was 18 of 31 from the field, including 3 of 7 on three-point attempts and was a perfect 12 of 12 from the free throw line.

For the Week of January 08-14, 2007:

Men: Joe Backus; Dakota State; 6-7; Junior; Forward; Wentworth, SD

Backus averaged 14.5 points, eight rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 blocks per game as the Trojans split a pair of conference contests.  In the two games, he was 9 of 18 from the field and 11 of 14 from the free throw line.

For the Week of January 01-07, 2007:

Schmitz averaged 19 points, eight rebounds, one assist and one steal in helping the Hardrockers to a 2-0 record for the week.  In the conference victories, he was 16 of 24 from the field and 6 of 8 from the free throw line.

Lyndoe averaged 17.5 points, five assists, 1.5 rebounds, and one steal as the Hardrockers dropped a pair of nonconference contests.  For the week, he was 13 of 18 from the field, including 1 of 1 on three point attempts and connected on 8 of 9 free throw tries.  Lyndoe also surpassed the 1000 point plateau in his career at South Dakota Mines. 

For the Week of December 11-17, 2006:

Backus averaged 20.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, one assist and one steal in a pair of nonconference setbacks.  In the two outings, he was 17 of 33 from the field including 1 of 1 from the three point stripe and connected on 6 of 8 free throw attempts.
