Men: Travis Lindgren; Mayville State; 5-9, Senior; Guard; East Grand Forks, MN
Lindgren concluded the regular season with 65 points, ten rebounds, ten steals and six assists as the Comets picked up a pair of conference victories.  In a 92-67 triumph over Dickinson State, he had 27 points, five rebounds, three steals and three assists and followed up with a 38 point, five rebound, seven steal, three assist performance in a 98-81 win over Valley City State.  In the two contests, Lindgren was 18 of 35 from the field, including 7 of 12 on 3-pointers, and was 22 of 23 from the free throw line.
 
For the Week of February 9-15, 2003:
Men:Chris Robinson; South Dakota Tech; 6-7; Senior; Center; Geddes, SD
Robinson had 41 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two blocks and four steals as the Hardrockers split a pair of conference contests.  In a 63-61 setback to the University of Mary,  he had 20 points, three rebounds, two assists, one blocked shot and two steals then added 21 points, five rebounds, three assists, a blocked shot and two steals in an 81-66 upset victory over then fourth ranked Jamestown College.  For the week, Robinson was 17 of 32 from the field and 7 of 8 from the free throw line.
 
For the Week of February 2-8, 2003:
Men: Nick Guidry; Si Tanka/Huron University; 5-10; Junior; Guard; Lake Charles, LA
Guidry had 47 points, ten assists, five rebounds and three steals in leading the Screaming Eagles to a pair of DAC victories.  In an 84-83 double-overtime triumph over then-fifteenth ranked Black Hills State, he had 31 points, four assists, four rebounds and two steals and added 16 points, six assists, one rebound and a steal in a 74-69 win over South Dakota Tech.  In the two contests, Guidry connected on 17 of 27 from the field, including 7 of 12 from the three point arc and was 6 of 9 from the free throw stripe.
 
For the Week of January 26-February 1, 2003:
Men: Travis Lindgren; Mayville State; 5-9, Senior; Guard; East Grand Forks, MN
Lindgren continued his outstanding senior season with 62 points, 15 rebounds, 15 assists and eight steals in helping the Comets capture a pair of conference victories.  In an 83-71 win over Huron University, he had 28 points, four rebounds, five assists and five steals and followed up with a triple-double of 34 points, eleven rebounds, ten assists and three steals in a 94-74 triumph over Dakota State.  In the two contests, Lindgren was 18 of 34 from the field, including 7 of 11 on 3-point attempts and was 19 of 21 from the free throw line.
 
For the Week of January 19-25, 2003:
Men: Josh Griffeth; Black Hills State; 6-8; Senior; Center; Salt Lake City, UT
Griffeth had 53 points, 19 rebounds and two assists as the Yellow Jackets split a pair of home conference contests.  In an 89-85 setback to Mayville State, he had 27 points and ten rebounds and added 26 points, nine rebounds and a pair of assists in an 86-73 triumph over Valley City State.  In the two contests, Griffeth was 22 of 38 from the field, including 3 of 6 on 3-point attempts and hit 6 of 8 free throws.
 
For the Week of January 12-18, 2003:
Men: Austin McCullough; Valley City State; 6-2; Senior; Guard; Jefferson City, MT
McCullough scored 50 points to go along with eight rebounds, five assists and two steals as the Vikings split a pair of road conference contests.  In a 78-65 triumph over Dickinson State, he had 28 points, six rebounds and five assists and then had 22 points, two rebounds and two steals in a 90-86 setback to Minot State.  In the two games, McCullough was 16 of 30 from the field, including 14 of 24 on 3-point attempts and made 4 of 5 free throws.
 
For the Week of January 5-11, 2003:
Men: Travis Lindgren; Mayville State; 5-9, Senior; Guard; East Grand Forks, MN
Lindgren surpassed 2000 points for his career to become the Comet's all-time leading scorer. In four games, he had 142 points, 25 rebounds, 22 assists and ten steals. In a 106-98 setback against Dakota State, he had 43 points, two rebounds, nine assists and three steals; he then added 34 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals in a 111-55 triumph over Trinity Bible College; he followed up with a 28 point, six rebound, four assist and four steal performance in an 85-70 loss to the University of Mary and closed out the week with 37 points, ten rebounds, four assists and a steal in an 87-81 loss to Jamestown College. In the four contests, Lindgren was 48 of 98 from the field, including 15 of 40 on 3-point attempts and hit 31 of 36 free throws.
 
For the Week of December 29, 2002-January 4, 2003:
Men: Darrel Williams; University of Mary; 6-6; Senior; Forward; Trinidad & Tobago
Williams had 36 points, 14 rebounds and seven steals as the Marauders opened the new year with two DAC wins.  In an 86-80 win over Minot State, he had 22 points, eight rebounds and four steals and followed up with 14 points, six rebounds, three steals, two assists and a blocked shot in a 93-62 triumph over Dickinson State.  For the week, Williams was 15 of 21 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free throw line.
 
For the Week of December 8-14, 2002:
Men: Travis Lindgren; Mayville State; 5-9; Senior; Guard; East Grand Forks, MN
Lindgren scored 60 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and handed out eleven assists as the Comets split a pair of conference contests.  In an 86-82 win over South Dakota Tech, he had 38 points, five rebounds, five assists and a steal and then added 22 points, seven rebounds, six assists and a steal in a 95-74 setback to number six Black Hills State.  For the week, Lindgren was 18 of 37 from the field, including 5 of 15 on 3-point attempts, and hit 19 of 25 free throws.
 
For the Week of December 1-7, 2002:
Men: Mike McCarty; Black Hills State; 6-2; Senior; Guard; Sioux Falls, SD
McCarty scored 40 points and grabbed six rebounds in helping the sixth ranked Yellow Jackets to a pair of wins in DAC play.  In a 97-71 win over Minot State, he had 21 points, three rebounds and one steal and then had 19 points and three rebounds in a 99-77 triumph over Dickinson State.  In the two victories, McCarty was 13 of 21 from the field, including 10 of 11 on 3-point attempts, and hit all four of his free throw attempts.
